This site aims to educate and provide value to those looking into remote shutter releases for their SLR cameras.  As professional photographers, getting the right shot is key to making our clients happy and that usually involves some intricate shots where the mere press of the camera shutter could cause the camera to shake and the shot would be lost.  When we purchased our latest camera we noticed that local camera shops were having trouble getting the remote releases in stock and we couldn’t wait for them to sort it out (ever tried telling a bride to be patient?  Don’t.) We looked towards the internet and found more confusion than answers, so Bill and myself created this website to answer questions and provide a one-stop resource for all your shutter release remote needs.
